Baltimore's Howard Street Tunnel upgraded to allow double-stack rail cargo, clearing a bottleneck for the port
The Howard Street Tunnel in Baltimore has been expanded to accommodate double-stack rail containers, completing a long-delayed infrastructure project on the Baltimore-Philadelphia I-95 rail corridor. The physical work is done and the tunnel is now open for use. Why it matters
